2000 LeConte Lodge^® Resupply Airlift

Restocking a wilderness lodge without roads requires unique solutions. We use a helicopter to move items that cannot be carried by the llama pack animals that carry our normal weekly supplies. The following pictures were taken in 2000 at a staging area in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
