Bookings for 2013

The 2013 season will be March 25 through November 26. Reservation office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday and closed most major holidays. All lottery requests have been processed. The lodge is about 90% booked. All Saturdays are currently booked as are most warm weather weekdays. Dates are changing daily and often faster than we can reply to email inquiries with available dates. A date specific waiting list was started on December 6 to rebook advance notice cancellations (more than 10 days notice). Short notice cancellations (10 days or less notice) are not rebooked from a wait list, but offered to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. See below for wait list information.

Wait list Information

The wait list is date specific and is accepted by fax, email, US mail or by using the wait list form (see link below). Phone wait lists requests will not be accepted. You may submit 3 individual dates OR ONE window of up to seven consecutive nights. Only one submission per party. The wait list is used for cancellations that occur with more than 10 days notice. Cancellations with less than 10 days notice are not offered to the wait list but to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. The wait lists for the following dates are full (not available) until further notice: June – ALL; July – ALL: August 1-17, 24, 31; September 6, 7, 13-29; and October 5, 6, 12-19, 26.

Payment Policy

Payments for reservations made by mail between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be due by the 1st of the following month; made between the 16th and the end of the month will be due by the 15th of the following month. Payments for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date are due when the reservation is made. Payment is accepted by check, money order or credit card. We do not accept American Express.

Late Cancellation Policy

Hosting guests on a remote mountaintop creates some unique problems of food supply and filling up unexpected vacancies. The trip to LeConte Lodge® is one that takes much advanced preparation, both for the host and for the guest. Most of your food is sent to the lodge in the spring of the year. Requests for guest reservations are made far in advance of arrival date. It is very difficult to fill vacancies created by cancellations received less than thirty days from the date of arrival. Consequently, we cannot guarantee a refund of your payment unless you give us thirty days notice. If a cancellation is necessary with less than thirty days notice, we will attempt to rebook your space. If we are able to fill the space we will gladly refund your payment. If we are unable to rebook your space(s), refunds on cancellations without thirty days notice cannot be made, regardless of the circumstances.

LeConte Lodge® is managed by LeConte Lodge® Limited Partnership, an authorized National Park Service Concession. It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.
