Bookings for 2016
We will begin booking 2016 reservations (March 21 through November 22) on October 1, 2015 at 8:00 am EDT by phone and written request by a lottery type system. Written requests (fax, email, US mail or lottery form) for the 2016 season will be accepted from Monday, August 3, 2015 through October 1, 2015.
The written requests are printed, and held until October 1 when they will be shuffled, pulled at random and processed simultaneously with phone call so no preference is given based on the date the request is received; so luck of the draw, luck of the dial.
After October 1, 2015, the 2016 reservation forms will be answered in the order in which they are received, but not until all of the 2016 lottery requests have been processed.
The wait list for 2016 reservation cancellations will be started on December 4, 2015.
Bookings for 2015
The 2015 season will run from Monday, March 23 through Tuesday, November 24.
All Individual cabins are now booked, and any openings will be filled from the wait list. We still have limited availability for groups of 8 or more, please call the office to check for dates or other possible cancellations. Please call to check for openings within the next 30 days.
You may use this form to submit a wait list request. The wait list is date specific and is accepted by fax, email, US mail, or by using the wait list reqest form. Phone wait list requess will not be accepted. You may submit 3 individual dates OR ONE window of up to seven consecutive nights. Only one submission per party. The wait list is used for cancellations that occur with more than 30 days notice. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice are not offered to the wait list but to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. Please follow us on Twitter for notices of short-term cancellations. Please call to check for openings within the next 30 days.
Due to the volume of emails, it may take 5-7 business days for you to get a reply. If you need a more immediate reply, please call the reservation office at 865-429-5704, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday. The office is closed most major holidays and may be closed between 12 and 1 for lunch. To cancel a reservation, especially a short notice cancellation, it is recommended to call the office rather than send an email.
The wait list for the following dates is full and closed: August – all days; September – all days; October – all days; November 7, 13, 14, 21. We do not accept wait lists for dates 30 days or less from the current date.
Payments for reservations made by mail between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be due by the 1st of the following month; made between the 16th and the end of the month will be due by the 15th of the following month. Payments for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date are due when the reservation is made. Payment is accepted by check, money order or credit card. We do not accept American Express.
Refund provided for cancellations up to 30 days prior to arrival, less a $15 processing fee. No refunds for cancellations with less than a 30 days notice unless we are able to rebook your reservation(s); in that event the amount received from another party for your reservation dates will be refunded, less a $15 processing fee. Any partial cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival will result in a refund, less a $15 processing fee. Any change in reservation dates will result in a $15 processing fee. There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy. We are not responsible for the weather or weather related conditions and weather conditions do not change the terms of the cancellation policy.
It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.
