Bookings for 2014

The 2014 season will be March 24 through November 25. Reservation office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday and closed most major holidays. All lottery requests have been processed. The lodge is about 85% booked. All Saturdays are currently booked as are most warm weather weekdays. Dates are changing daily and often faster than we can reply to email inquiries with available dates. A date specific waiting list will be started on December 6 to rebook advance notice cancellations (more than 10 days notice). Short notice cancellations (10 days or less notice) are not rebooked from a wait list, but offered to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. To check for available dates, you may use the 2014 request form or call 865-429-5704 during the business hours noted above. Due to the volume of emails a delay of 5-7 business days is possible.

Wait list Information

Wait list requests for 2014 will be taken starting December 6th.

The wait list is date specific and is accepted by fax, email, US mail or by using the wait list form (see link below). Phone wait lists requests will not be accepted. You may submit 3 individual dates OR ONE window of up to seven consecutive nights. Only one submission per party. The wait list is used for cancellations that occur with more than 10 days notice. Cancellations with less than 10 days notice are not offered to the wait list but to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. Please follow us on Twitter for notices of short-term cancellations. The wait list for the following days is closed: ALL of September; October 1-27; November 1, 8, 15.

Bookings for 2015

The 2015 Season will run March 23 through November 24th. We will begin booking 2015 reservations by phone and written request lottery on October 1, 2014 at 8:00 am EDT. Written requests for the 2015 lottery will be accepted starting August 4, 2014 by using the 2015 request form (which will be posted in August), fax, email or US Mail. Any requests received prior to this time will not be accepted. The complete procedure will be posted in August along with the request form.

Payment Policy

Payments for reservations made by mail between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be due by the 1st of the following month; made between the 16th and the end of the month will be due by the 15th of the following month. Payments for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date are due when the reservation is made. Payment is accepted by check, money order or credit card. We do not accept American Express.

Cancellation/Change Policy (effective on all 2014 Season Reservations)

Refund provided for cancellations up to 30 days prior to arrival, less a $15 processing fee. No refunds for cancellations with less than a 30 days notice unless we are able to rebook your reservation(s); in that event the amount received from another party for your reservation dates will be refunded, less a $15 processing fee. Any partial cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival will result in a refund, less a $15 processing fee. Any change in reservation dates will result in a $15 processing fee. There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy. We are not responsible for the weather or weather related conditions and weather conditions do not change the terms of the cancellation policy.

It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.
